WHY WE BUILT IT
Trust should lead to a better answer.
Once a homeowner trusts your work, the questions start: Do you know a good roofer? A plumber? An electrician? Someone who can repair the pool, replace the flooring, or handle the next project?
We have had to answer, “Sorry, I don't know anyone,” and we have seen the disappointment on the homeowner's face. After earning their confidence, sending them away without a good answer never felt right.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Professionals whose reputation came before the invitation.
We know that every trade has professionals who have spent years developing the same kind of expertise and reputation we value in our own field. Those are the contractors and home-service professionals we want to bring together.
VendorRefer is not a pay-per-lead marketplace or an open directory. Every prospective member is reviewed before joining. That usually includes a brief conversation so we can learn about your business, the work you perform, and whether we share the same expectations for serving customers and fellow contractors.
WHAT MEMBERSHIP MEANS
A community works only when its members contribute.
We are looking for professionals who want to help homeowners find the right person, even when the work falls outside their own specialty. Members should be willing to give referrals as well as receive them, respond honestly when a job is not a fit, and treat another contractor's customer with care.
VendorRefer keeps those handoffs organized and visible. It records who sent the opportunity, who accepted it, and whether the referral became real work. The purpose is not to punish people or turn favors into fees. It is to build a community where contribution is recognized, relationships grow, and good work keeps moving forward.
